Covella inspires residents to Active8 their life

NATIONAL developer Villa World will celebrate the addition of a new park area and launch its Active8 initiative at Covella on Saturday, April 27 in a bid to encourage residents to live active and healthy lives.

Covella is inviting the surrounding community to the Active8 launch for a day of free food, sports and activities, inspiring guests to embrace the Active8 initiative, which provides residents with outdoor equipment and walking tracks to keep fit and healthy.

Villa World Queensland development director Peter Johnson said the new park has become the centerpiece of the 1,502-lot Covella, complementing the family-friendly community.

“The park is an excellent addition to Covella, and provides the means to really implement the Active8 initiative, which we are very passionate about,” Mr Johnson said.

“Covella’s park has been designed to encourage our residents to get out and about, get to know their neighbours and enjoy the beautiful community.

“We are looking forward to inviting Covella residents, their friends and family, and the surrounding community to the Active8 launch this weekend, and showing them the benefits of being active and involved,” he said.

Covella’s new park provides an abundance of outdoor activity options, including an undercover playground, walking and cycle tracks, kick about areas and a picnic shelter.

The Active8 launch will run from 11am – 3pm and guests can enjoy food trucks, coffee, face painting, a bungee trampoline, jumping castle and an obstacle course.
